Now emphasizing special occasions rather than being open daily for lunch and dinner, The Commonwealth Room will become York’s most elegant setting for:

  • Special events such as Wine Dinners

The Commonwealth Room is now BYOB* so if you would like to enjoy an alcoholic beverage with your meal please remember to Bring Your Own Beverage. Corkage service, glasses and mixers are available for a nominal fee. Ask for details when making your reservation.

*Pennsylvania law states that any alcoholic beverages consumed in our restaurant must have been legally purchased in Pennsylvania. In fact you are advised to carry proof of purchase in case it is requested by law enforcement officials. Any unconsumed alcoholic beverages must be placed in the trunk or rear area of your vehicle.
